The Inspiration and Evolution of Our Business

I am Alicia Monique, founder of The Flower Monkey, a company rooted in a family legacy of natural healing. My great-grandmother, known for her healing abilities, passed down her knowledge of using herbs, minerals, and oils to my grandmother, who then passed it on to me. Throughout my life, I've sought natural remedies for various ailments, inspiring me to become a massage therapist specializing in pain management.

With a passion for helping others, I began curating lotions and oils to combat muscle pain. The demand from family and friends led me to start my business in 2019. However, personal challenges, including depression, anxiety, and arthritis, forced me to temporarily close the business during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Determined to overcome my struggles, I created a product combining CBD, salt minerals, and essential oils, which proved highly effective in promoting sleep and easing both body and mind. Encouraged by the positive response from loved ones, I relaunched The Flower Monkey. Now, we are an organic bath and body product company focused on pain management, anxiety relief, and natural healing, employing and empowering females and those identifying as such while using only organic and cruelty-free ingredients. Our mission is to educate customers on the benefits of CBD and continue developing healing-focused products for the future.
